{Papertrey Ink July Blog Hop}

PTIJulyBlogHop

  I was very close to sitting out of this months Papertrey Ink Blog Hop but the boys slept in this morning and I had a rare and welcomed bit of time to myself so I whipped up a quick card for the hop.  To create my card I used the Balloon Trio from Your Next Stamp, and a chipboard number from American Crafts. I stamped the sentiment from the PTI set "Bitty Baby Blessings". The patterned paper is from Michael's Recollections brand. (Sold by the single 12x12 sheet.) Thank you for visiting my blog today!

What a fun interpretation of the photo. So glad you had a chance to play. Aren't first birthdays just the most special?

I love this card - I like how the white doily gives eyes a place to rest from all the fun coloured details.
